Never again I wish to step
Onto the dry desert filled with dunes
Towering above my head

In the end when I finally reach the top, with
Nothing left in my way (seemingly)
The sands shift again with the gale
Every second sees the mound rising bit by bit
Reaching for the sky
Exasperated, I continue my ascent
Sweating in out I clung on
Towards the top I toiled
Even as many a time I concur, and
Doubt the futility of it all..
