Anyway, this was how I spent my birthday.



Yeah I was mugging like a typical-Singaporean-student-from-a-top-JC-who's-rather-lousy-in-his-class. . I attended Supervised Self Study along with sY, Silu, Haw and Samuel. Thanks for bring us lunch (: And I spent some time studying Friends for the very first time when Silu 'lectured' us on tt on the big screen using her laptop. All I can say is that the Americans really make better dramas last time.

Rushed to catch Zexian's water baptism before having BS with Sarah and attending service which was helmed by our 'favourite pastor from down under' Pst Phil Pringle, head of Christian City Church in Sydney, Australia, who preached about the key to unlocking our lives, and hence gain our freedom. It was a largely evangelistic message which I guess was laying the foundation for the other 3 services, given that the Sat 3.30pm one is the first service.

The resulting altar call was quite massive though. And and, I love the praise song 'Together Stronger'. Very very catchy tune - too bad it can't be found anywhere online yet.

W515 got me a shirt and a very very nice card (: Thank you! Celebrated both mine and Sarah's birthday.. blowing the candles on smudged 'anointed' cakes (Nicolas said they were squashed in the crowd during water baptism earlier in the day - and boy was it hot at the rooftop too). Haha..

The guys.. Haha. That will easily be the coolest shirt in my wardrobe (I'm not into buying shirts.. Last bought a shirt 2 years ago) - And Melvin finally had his eyes open during the shot.. it was retaken thrice. LOL.

Went to Imperial Treasure Nan Bei Restaurant in Ngee Ann City for dinner. That'll be up in another post though.

Overall, I feel that this birthday ranks up there along with last year's as the best I've ever had (: Am grateful to everyone who bothered to wish and celebrate this day with me. Haha.

29th August was The King of Pop MJ's birthday as well. Did not know that we shared the same day until after his passing. He was a guy who shaped an entire generation in his lifetime, and well continue to do so through his music in the years to come. I'm quite honoured to be associated with him this way (:
