so the apartment is finally full of everything but the magic box since we still have internet at sumac but not yet at the new place. after spending days and nights transporting, we finally finished up saturday night! friday i was at work late with a migraine and irregular ops, which made me less than ecstatic. saturday was FULL of moving, then everyone disappeared without toasting the new place, so we got some smirnoffs and cider for ourselves and organized a bit. sunday things got interesting...

we were suppose to have a shoot out near limrick...the property is privately owned, but i was told we had permission to be there...we didn't...instead we got to stand in the rain while officer "i've got nothing better to do than make you stand in the cold rain making sure you don't go away" decided what to do with the 25 or so people who had shown up...of course the two of us were the only ones cited for tresspassing, which is absolutely ridiculous for a lot of reasons...so now we've got to deal with this crap. by the time we were done there we were done..we headed home and organized some more, took a walmart trip for some kitchen supplies, and hit acme for some actuall groceries.

the place is chaotic right now, but it's really nice. we're slowly but surely finding a place for everything. there's food in the kitchen so we can actually start cooking instead of scrounging, and aside from the occasional monetary worry, there's an optimistc buzz in the air. we are ready to be productive. we are ready to move forward. even mowgli's been more calm and obedient. a few growing pains, but all in all things are good, and it feels great to be able to say that.
