I officially was pitched strike one today. Apparently my mind decided not to notice the 530 on my schedule for Tuesdays. Technically they could've fired me since I strolled in at quarter to 9 like there wasn't a care in the world. So...I've only got one left in the chamber.

The underwater bag search the other day left me with a pretty nasty set of melon sized glands, a constricted airway, and the inability to eat solid foods for fear of puncturing my esophagus like an expired condom (sorry...it's a bad metaphor day) I've been pretty miserable from it for a couple days now. Last night I got through my soup as Chris and I watched Babel (which was excellent!) before crashing in a painful heap of congestion. Today it started draining, so at least it's improving...and I have the next 2 off, so I'll have time to reboot.

Despite the aches, pains, and general disgusting feeling I've had all day, I decided not to cancel on Trevor. It's taken us long enough to get this project off the ground as it is, and since the purpose of the meeting was to try to mesh some songs, I figured tonal perfection wasn't required. We parted with a pretty good jump on the 2 songs he sent me last week, and he really digs my sound (minus mucus), so I'm pretty excited about getting this really started. All we need is a bass player and we'll be good to go.

So thats been my day...I intend to sit on my butt all damned night...wanna fight about it?
