I made it home! The flight home had me in quite a state. My sinsuses and ears were so sore I thought I'd been stabbed in the head and it was going to fall apart. I was in tears.
Dallas itself was an adventure. The first night there we found a wonderfully comfie pub in the West End. It had books and couches! My kinda place! Classes were a bit tedious, but I got through them. Spent an inordinate time (even for me) watching the Discovery Channel. Mythbusters had a special on Pirates! On my day off I went to the Dallas Zoo, which was fantastic! The I went to Fair Park to see the Planetarium and the museums there. They were really nice until the shuttle informed me it could not, in fact, pick me up as t he guy had told me that morning. That was one of the most expensive 7 minute taxi rides of my life. The second week was slightly harder, as is generally the case. I didn't do a whole lot. I almost went out one night with some of the girls, but I didn't. I almost took an trip to San Antonio for a few hours, but that didn't happen. Our last night in Dallas my roommate and I decided we needed to go walk around the mall to let off some steam. Andre kind of invited himself along, but it turned out to be quite an amusing experience, as he'd never been on public transportation before (mischievous giggle). Karma got back at me, though, because we got hit with a maelstrom standing on the platform waiting for the train. Before the bus back we got pomegranate lemonade. I don't know what was IN the lemonade, but we were more hyper and ridiculous than I've been in a long time. Man, don't mess with that shit. I passed my final pretty well. Missed a couple stupid ones, but I wasn't feeling well and I couldn't really concentrate. All in all I did pretty well, though.

So that's that for now...there are bits and pieces I'm sure I've forgotten, but I'll fill you all in later. :)

Pomegranate lemonade sounds amazing.

one of my coworkers had pomegranate lemonade once and she was weird hyper for the greater part of the shift. it was funny and annoying at the same time.
haha, I'm listening to the song If You Want to Get Out Alive by Three Days Grace right now. I just thought that was slightly amusing that it went along with the title. :P
