i run away half way through a wedding dinner yesterday because the only person i know there (except for the groom) wanted to run off earlier than me. i once told a friend weddings are one of the best place to meet people but i was so wronggg, at least for last night scenario.
In chinese wedding dinner, where you have to be seated in a round table with 9 other people waiting for a 8 course dish to be serve to you, there not much you can do between dishes, you can only either talk to the person next you or stare ahead (most likely meeting the gaze of another person on the same table), of course you can start counting the number of champagnes glasses on the stage, time your next toilet trip, sms-ing furiously or simply stare onto your plate throughout the 2 hr dinner.

having extreme phobia for awkward situations, i run for the nearest exit.
*someone should start an events company catering to wedding dinners*

not wanting to end the night that way, I called the guys for their plans and found out they were having an all guys night out at Thai club Nana. The next line was classic, will said i can join them but they will not be giving me any attention.

okay whatever!!

the rest of the night was fun. the live band, the performance, the superbly hot babes and the company.
