men can never understand why woman have to act the way they do when they are having their menses. Most of the time they think we use it as an excuse or our triumph card to be unreasonable and make them go through shit. our shit.

they are probably right in some ways, i mean what give us the rights to act this way, thats just unfair...but the truth it, as much as we want to stop acting like a nutcase, its really not easy. okay lets look at the numbers, im sure men can understand numbers better.

From the day we have our menses to the day it stop : Estimate age 16 - 50, and take that we suffer menses cramp once a month, and it lasted for a day each time (im one of the fortunate ones, I have friend who have 1 week cramps)

Age 50 - 16 = 34 years
34 years x 12 months = 408 days
408 / 7 days = 58weeks
58 / 4 = 14months of cramps/pain!

now imagine living with headaches, abdominal cramps, fatigue, acne and irritable mood swings for more than a year. its crazy enough for anyone to be crazy.

so are we being totally unreasonable here is up to you guys to decide but at least the next time a female boss or girlfriend starts screaming for the missing pen and you start rolling ur eyes and mutter the word "PMS!", you will now know the story behind all these madness.

haha i wrote a couple of entries while going through pms. seriously, as much as i try to stop my moodswings--even tho i KNOW i'm going through it and will regret insulting friends at the time, i just can't help being over emotional. damn it sucks being female!!

Menses! I've always found that an amusing way to refer to it.

Regardless, I always feel bad when I am PMSing. Something small will upset me, but I'll be waaay more upset than is called for, and then I get upset that I'm PMSing which is why I'm flipping out over nothing at all... Then my boyfriend is worried because I am flipping out over nothing, and I'm trying to tell him that it's just PMS, but then he looks so concerned...

Thankfully I only get cramps the first day. They're still not pleasant.

I feel incredibly guilty when I know the mood swings are due to arrive and after it's over, but once they hit...no guilt is involved haha, I just get mad about everything! Sometimes I try really hard to be nice so I can convince myself that I'm not pmsing!

Cramps...I'm one of the unfortunate ones that have cramps for a few days and the first day I usually get very sick too :( I really wish men could understand the crap we have to go through : / Although, with your calculations, I think they might get it!

LOL...I think men will appreciate PMS more once their wives get pregnant...that's when the women really unleash the demons in them.....they can either get over the few days of PMS every month or 10 straight months of HELL (for each child)
