The weekend been good.

fri - dinner with the girls at Prime Society dempsey hill. the food is mediocre, the open kitchen concept makes the place abit too smoky, but the decor and ambience is good and the girls company...priceless. If it wasnt for them i wouldnt have went. spending: $50 per pax

sat - met up with cherie for dinner and later Sammi Cheng concert at indoor stadium with her, her fren and sis. Its the first time im seated so near to the stage. 8th row my goodness....i was getting really excited on being so upclose when i realized i was also in the fans area, potentially at risk of being hit by air batons and giant light sticks from screaming fans behind me. Im not that big a Sammi fan, went cuz of my sis and Sammi Cheng was speaking cantonese 98% of the time so i was like in a 'uh-huh' mode throughout. The 2% was when guest star Stefani Sun came out and she said a few sentence in chinese. Found out after the concert that Sammi is really humourous like how she is in the movies, and Stefani Yun really deserve being the pride of Singapore. I really like her vocals.

Caught Zhang Zhen Yue performing in bugis on sat too. You guys who dont know who he is, hes the one who sang the famous Ai Wo Bei Zhou. I think hes one of the coolest local music artist in taiwan, esp like his latest album. But dunnoe why he's not that big in sg...the crowd just disperse after he finish singing...leaving the pathetic few for the album signing session. It was really a sad scene! Im guilty of going off too cuz im running late for my dinner. Have posted up one my fav song from his latest album OK. Enjoy!
