Valentine's Day Cole died.

We buried him in my backyard, next to Percy and Domino.

I'm waiting to go meet with my brother. We're going to pick an urn together for my mom's ashes.

While all this is happening, everyone is preparing for weddings and quinces.

I drift between envious anger, sadness, and sullen apathy.


To top all of this off:

The first to entries were about a girl who I was really close to who died.. the PWs were 'huh' and 'idunno' I think.. I can check later.

When people in D.C. found out about her ( I was crying in my room for days at a time and they figured someone died ), al they said was ' sorry for your loss.' I thought it was so damn generic and fucked up because it's just some token gesture that you say to someone regardless if you truly feel sorrow or not.

I can't empathize with you, but I can sympathize. I know it doesn't mean much, but I'm not sure what else I can offer.
