what a crappy week. Thursday, March 1, 2007 A final in English about Great Expectations by Charles Dickens. I completely bombed the timed writing because....... I didn't read the book. SENIOR PORTFOLIO is due tomorrow.. and I need to finish it! I don't even have pictures yet. Well, you guys probably don't know what a senior portfolio is. It's just a portfolio about our years in high school, with work samples from different classes, and other things that show we're competent enough to get out into the real world. (resumes, job applications, letters of recommendation, etc.) The main thing I'm worried about is the personal section; different pictures that show another side of me, instead of solely academic. AND.. I have to memorize 30 words and definitions by tomorrow for a vocab test in English.. oral test. The teacher says a word and you have to define it to them. I suck at memorizing.. This week just sucks. I'm glad it's almost over. whewww.. time to work on this STUPID senior portfolio that has absolutely no use for me.. I mean, it's not going to prepare me for the real world. It's just something for seniors to do so they don't slack off & get senioritis. 8 Comments. I didn't have to do a portfolio though. We didn't have to do that but I imagine that they all do now. The year after I graduated (1999) they made it mandatory that you do a certain amount of hours of community service and then have to submit a written report on the experience to graduate.
