oh man...
Monday January 22, 2007 8:18pm
2007 has been quite... unexpected to say the least.

First, THE GOOD NEWS.
I got an A in poli sci! I got the 3rd highest score on the final in 5th period, and the highest overall semester grade in that class too. I passed my first college class!

Second, THE WORST NEWS.
My friend died in a car accident Friday Night... God, she was so young too. 16 years old. It's so unreal, I still can't believe it. It feels like a dream or some horrible prank.. Go to my other nutang, rand0mness for details.

I don't think I'll be writing for awhile, just with all of this happening.. plus finals are coming up NEXT WEEK. >.<

life's so unpredictable and so short. live & love. no regrets. life's too precious for that..

I am very, very sorry to read the "worst news". I can't even properly express adequate words. I can't say that the very same thing has happened to me but a relatively close personal acquantaince of mine was killed about a minute from my house. On one of the main roads just outside the development that I was living in at the time. Her brother and his friend were drunk. They were picking her up from something she had to do and we were only 15 at the time and unable to drive. Her brother sat in the drivers side of the pickup truck with just one of the 'benches' in that cab...no seperate seats. His friend was sitting on the passenger side. Both of them had seatbelts but did not wear them. She was in the middle where it's technically illegal to sit as there was no seatbelt there. Or else she definitely would have worn it. Her brother took the turn past my development too quickly and flipped the pickup truck about 10 times. Somehow her brother and his friend were mainly unscathed. She was thrown through the windshield and the truck rolled over her atleast twice from what they could tell. Man..ten years ago. And even though I pretty much always wore a seatbelt before then...I think of her every single time I get in a car and make sure that I wear my seatbelt. i am sorry for all of the details..this entry just made the memories flood back and so I put them here.

But..again...I am very, very sorry for your loss!

I agree..
about applying online generally but some of the places guarantee that they'll get it. And sometimes I will just apply online to backup places where I am not all THAT interested in working but they're fallback places in case I do not hear from anywhere else but I'd hear back from one of them. But online seems to be doin' okay for me so far this time around!

First off, I'm sorry for your loss. I knew some people who were in a car accident a couple of years ago, and unfortunately, one of them passed as well. It was foolish to even in their situation at the time, but oh well, I can't go and kick around a dead horse anymore. Anyway, most of them are ok now but regardless, the one person who lost his life can never say the same. But yeah, good luck with your UCSD application. I applied there right out of high school myself, but instead chose to go to SDSU instead because of its business program. Too bad for me, they rescinded my admittance a week before orientation so I got screwed big time. Oh well, at least I'll be going there this spring quarter (woo) so that's defnitely one less thing to stress about.

Keep up the good work and maybe I'll see you at UCSD sometime.
