my summer so far..
Friday June 30, 2006 4;59pm
Well, my summer has been......... rather boring. I haven't done anything really.

I had a good time yesterday. I went to a Goo Goo Dolls/Counting Crows concert. I like the Goo Goo Dolls, but I didn't know ONE song from Counting Crows.. is that bad? Am i deprived?

It's almost July... tomorrow, actually. And I promised myself that I would exercise so I would be in shape for volleyball. I doubt that'll happen.. but at least I put it out there. =)

So that's my update for now. Maybe I'll come back and there will be an EXCITING adventure for me to share with you. hah.

toodles.

It's ok, my summer hasn't been all that exciting either. I'm typing papers for my mom for 10 and hour, so that's not all that bad. I won tickets to a local folk music concert, I have to find a way out there. :/

math b is a failed experiment on new york sophomores and juniors....and other people taking this math. It's completely stressful because in our math classes...instead of taking one full year of trigonometry...or something else, we have one in a half years to learn this 1000 page book with about 20 topics. By the time the juniors of next year graduate, the math classes are going to change and everything will be simpler. There will be a class with a full year of ONLY trig. and grrr. It's just completely stressful because they expect us to just KNOW these equations and whatnot. The Regents (the state exam for a certain test) for Math B isn't impossible... but it's just a massive chunk of information you need to get drilled in your head. I'm just happy that I get a lot of basic concepts....just not when they have to complicate everything. because New York state complicates our lives...

Ahh, Pirates of the Carribbean 2 shall be epic. I heard they're making a 3rd one as well!

As for the not knowing any Counting Crows sons incident, i don't know any either! So you're not deprived nor are you the only one who has no knowledge of their songs.

Hey
Lonestar was a good concert, shoulda went. I do like Goo Goo Dolls and if I'm thinking straight doesn't Counting Crows sing Mr. Jones. If they do that's the only song from them I know, lol. So don't feel bad. Anyways, just wanted to stop by and say thanks for the comment. Take Care

i think I'm gonna get it Sunday.... I just don't feel ready yet. The thing is that there's a permit place near me...the other one is miles away. the one near me only gives out permits from 8-9 while the other one miles away gives them all day. I've never seen the Fanta commercial in Spanish. I've seen Nick cartoons in Spanish. But that's it. Family Guy in French was somewhat entertaining for 5 minutes.
