started work today. YAY!!!! *grins*
where i work:
[x] newport arms' garden bistro (up the northern beaches of sydney)- just so you know, if u wanna drop by and say hi.
[x] stalking however is strictly not permitted. unless you're smart, sexy and single. haha jk :P
[x] i'll post pics of the place up, as soon as i remember to bring my digi cam with me to work.
pro's of work:
[x] the *ka-ching ka ching* $$$ makes this little retail fanatic very happy indeedy.
[x] the supervising boss is both considerate and understanding. not to mention totally cute and funny :]
[x] the job is easy and not so physically-demanding
[x] free transport
[x] free v. v. yummy GOURMET fooooood :]
[x] friendly staff (including this adorable British girl from the country)
[x] indoors- perfect for the quintessential albino-wanna-be girl ie. yours truly.
con's of work
[x] i have to tie my hair up and am coerced into wearing a cap
[x] no platforms or heels- so i get to feel like a friggin dwarf all day.
[x] no painted nails Y__Y
The older you get the more boring life is. Eventually you just have to accept life is boring and deal with it...:( Imagine working like how you are doing for the rest of your life, which most people in society do.
