Well ive been wanting to write about this for awhile...but i ahevn't been able to
My grandma rogers passed away on fiday.... this all started thursday the 25th when we found out my grandma had lukemia. The doctors also said there wsn't anything to do for ehr because she didn't weigh enough to go thru chemo or radiation. On friday my grandma was moved into my house and was put on hospice. She was weak but walked up the stairs by herself. Saturday was such a good day for her. She ate 3 meals...sat on the couch most of the day and tried to talk with the several visitors that came. Sunday was a complete turn around. She just slept and dramk just a little water. This went on and kept getting worse and worse. I spent the night at ashley's on thursday night. I said goodnight to my grandma...told her i loved her...those were the last words i said to her. My uncle mark got a call at around 7:20 in the morning form my aunt saying it was my grandmas time. He, along with my other uncle and my mother rushed to the house. No one made it. My grandma died at 7:30.
This has been so hard on everyone, but we're living together. All my family has pulled together tightly and are slowly dealing with the pain. I love my grandma so much, but i know shes in a better place.
