Everyone knows everyone here. It's destroying me slowly. I mean, I can't go to a freaking nerd-sport meet without being in the room with two ex-best friends. Another of them was in the room over.

I want to stop caring about things. That's what Jeth said I should do. And that's what I usually do. I don't care whether I win or lose.

But I have to win. This is my life.

Isn't that pathetic? That something like aca deca is my life? But it is. Otherwise how do I get into college? I didn't play the GPA game, I didn't make national merit. I have to get scholarships somehow.

Blechhhhhhhhh. I hate money. I wish schooling was always free.

It's such a pain, the small towns and having to pay out the ears for school. I left my small town, and crap still circulates about what a horrible person I am (except I am not...). All sorts of lies being spread, everyone knows everyone's business, everyone is related to everyone... it's wonderful.

Of course my family calls and tells me I "need to come home", but I know that if I do, it won't end well. Screw that.

I actually wish we took more notes/got more lecture in my APUSH class +_+.
There's just too much "discussion" time and too much participation for me. Eek, the dread of participation.
