ha, today was just .. weird. my dad was driving me to school, and right when we got to the seatac/des moines border, it was completely black. there were NO lights on at all. no street lights, stop lights, or any lights in the stores and stuff. dahh .. pretty weird. i got to school, and yeah .. there was no light there too! it was cuz there was a fire at the des moines power plant place .. and so yeah. blackout. "anyways. back to my story .." hahaha. brian! yeah um .. they said that school might be canceled, but they didn't know .. so i just stayed and walked around with my new friend, candy, until they told us to go to our first period class. dahh .. we were supposed to stay in there for more than an hour. it was soo boring. but then the fire alarm went off cuz someone pulled it. so we went outside. it was hecka windy. the planes that flew by were being pushed sideways by the wind. i thought it was pretty funny, cuz i could imagine hearing the "PING!" and the pilot would come on and say "ladies and gentlemen, we're experiencing a little turbulence." hah. yeahh. stayed outside for about twenty minutes until we got to go back inside. then like .. we stayed inside for a half hour .. then the lights finally came back on. i was about to go home too! since everyone else did. but yeah. i went to third period. only FOUR people were there. um. no one was at lunch. er actually, no one was even at school. so yeah .. i told bao to skip class cuz he has second lunch. and so he did and i hung out with him. we were gonna walk up the hill to mcdonalds .. but i didn't wanna get busted for leaving campus, even if the day was already screwed and no one would really care. but yeah .. i'm a chicken. fourth period was boring. the teacher wasn't in the room so i just walked out to second lunch during the last 10 minutes and bought me some chili cheese FRITOS. haha remember stef .. chippy! the asian frito =). yeh .. the school was so deserted! but after that i went to fifth period. there were 2 other people in that class, and all we were gonna do was watch a movie. so roths let bao go to the gym to play basketball .. and i went with him. played basketball in the gym. that was fun. i was all sweaty afterwards .. and i stunk. bao sprayed some axe on me .. and now i smell like a guy. but yeah. after that period was over, i went to sixth .. which ended up being the best period of the day! 7 people. and yeah .. just talked to them and watched toy story 2 until the power went off AGAIN. everyone was being stupid and saying REALLY dumb things. it was hella fun. haha .. i was looking at the clock and said "whoa! the clock said it was 1:30 since like .. 10 minutes ago!" or something like that. and then candy's like "that's because the power's out, and the clock is frozen." haha woo. that was great. oh and i found a paper bag, and i started to do this one magic trick. everyone was so amazed. it was hilarious. like the first time i did it .. their jaws dropped, like literally .. and i was cracking up. mannnn .. can't wait to show my ridgetop people =). it's the best trick ever. hmm .. yeah. well i'm glad they didn't cancel school, or else we would have had to make it up! ha .. pretty fun day, it was. most of it was boring, but yeah .. if YOU guys were here, it would have been a blast. i still say they should give extra credit to the students that actually stayed =(.
