Legare called last night. Finnally. For a while I thought he didn't like me anymore, but then after my sillness I acknowledge his busyness. We were to meet for lunch, but he thinks he has contracted Food Poisoning and the 14 is No Go anyways due to California Drivers being what they are.

I was kind of excited to see the EX. Not to romantize things, but just to see how he is doing now and to show him how I am doing. Its that last and final realization that I am happy and looking better.

I did the same for Justin as well when we met up with his ex. To let them know what sort of life we lead now and the life they possibly could of led with us.

But then I realize... I am who I am today because of Justin. and the same for Legare. He is who is because of his girl and then I realize we were children then, grasping each others like bouys in the water. Hoping not to get swallowed by the ocean we treaded in. Life seemed so complicated back then...

Life did seem complicated when I was 18, When I was 17, and 16, and 15... and now when I see people that age chatting about how life is complicated from them now, I find myself giggling at the complexity of adolesence..... and sometimes I envy it.

But mostly I giggle... I enjoy the freedom of adulthood.....
