Its five oclock in the morning......I am up yet again at a ridiculously early hour. WHY am I up so early?? Because of the fucking cat.

I don't know what to do at this point. Right now I want to smack the shit out of this cat he's got me so pissed off....but I wont, because that's not going to help anything.

I'm just really tired.
I'm tired of being woken up EVERY night because the fucking cat jumps up on my dresser. its been several weeks since we've moved in and the fucking stupid cat doesn't get that he's not allowed up there. It wouldn't be that big of a deal if it wasn't EVERY FUCKING NIGHT. He's loud and he knocks shit over and waits until it is fucking 2 or three in the morning to jump up there. NEver does he do it in the middle of the day...but at fucking 2 or three in the morning.

As if THAT wasn't enough the stupid fucking cat has to piss and shit all in front of his litter box instead of inside it.
He only puts his front half in the litter box and just squats and shits right on the rug. an easy clean up. Thank God he hasn't had the runs or anything. But NOW he's also pissing there. NOT COOL. At least I caught him doing it in the act. I got to pick up the mess right after it happened as apposed to it sitting there for a few hours.


But I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO!!!!!!

The cat knows where the litter box is. sometimes he uses it, no problem. but other times he's too fucking lazy to put the important half of his body in the litter box. I can't punish him because then he'll think using the litter box is not allowed. but I need to make sure he knows to get in the fucking box all the way before he starts to do his business.

And I can't help but be a little pissed off at Scott too even though I told him I wasn't.

I know its not his fault that his cat is a fucking retard. But Scott gets to sleep. He's sleeping right now. I woke up, cleaned up the mess and am now too pissed to fall back to sleep. Scott on the other hand wakes up after hearing me in the bathroom cleaning up the little rug we put out in front of the litter box, asks "what's going on?" I tell him....he looks upset that I am stuck cleaning it up. I tell him its okay and he goes back to bed and now he's snoring and happily dreaming away while I can't fucking sleep! As if I don't have enough trouble sleeping as it is and with the stupid cat waking me up every fucking night my sleeping abilities have only gotten worse. Now I can't go back to sleep and I have to be up for work in a little bit and I've already been woken up a few times from the cat already and I'm going to be exhausted at work trying not to fall asleep at the desk AGAIN and I just REALLY REALLY REALLY want to sleep right now.

There has to be something uncomfortable to put on the dresser that would make the cat stay off of it. We used to have a problem with our bird flying up onto the cabinets and chewing hunks out of them until we put a fake cat up there. Scared the crap out of the bird; she never landed there again.

I'm with Unicornasaurus, you need to put a deterrent on the dresser. Or... maybe lock the cat out of the bedroom at night or something? If he sleeps in there that might not work but you could move his bed somewhere else...

My family got a cat once.. and my mom decided to put the litter box in my room whether I liked it or not >.< It almost never made it in the litter box. I wanted to kill him. Now he's outside :) I agree with keep him out of the room at night. Move the litter box in the bathroom and keep him in there. Damn cats lol
