So our warehouse guys found a kitten back by where we keep our skids. It was stuck under a piece of wood and they rescued it.
It is so tiny. Clearly a newborn.
It has the prettiest blue eyes (but they'll more than likely change as it gets older) and its all black.
I WANT IT!!!!!

The only downside is its a girl and while I can settle for a girl cat and I don't by any means HATE girl cats....I just prefer boy cats.

Its so tiny and newly born it still needs to be nursed. they've been feeding it a bottle every two hours....and they're looking to give it a home when its old enough.

I reiterate.....I WANT IT!!!!!

but I was told that I couldn't have it...

Scott's right, though. We just got settled in and figuring out what we need still and all that....this cat would need all its shots and it would need to be fixed and blah blah blah. We can't afford that. And I know it.....

But I'm just going to irrationally still want this cat knowing full well that I wont take it home with me just because I like to torture myself. lol

But I promise, I wont be asking again. I know its not happening.

The only thing I don't like is that a few other people showed an interest in the cat and all of them want to de-claw the poor little kitty.
That is one thing I'm seriously against. Its bad enough you take away their man parts or girl parts because you don't want them to have kittens or spray or whatever.

But taking away their claws is like taking away your fingers. you can't grab anything without fingers. a cat can't get a good hold on anything without claws.
they can't defend themselves without claws. they can't climb.

I'd really rather not have this kitty go into the hands of someone who plans on taking the cats claws away. =/

Oh well...I can't do anything about it.


Anyway....I guess I better get some work done.
