So I helped with the camera work yesterday for the High Roller Challenge and the song is stuck in my head still!

haha. I don't think you guys realize just HOW gross that sandwich was. The smell alone.....UGHhh. *cringes*

Anyway...
So I stopped by to see my brother yesterday and he informed me that Michelle (his girlfriend) is being induced next Tuesday!!!! (Holy Crapper!)
SOOOO soon! That's crazy! I can't help but be so excited for them. Its probably going to be the best thing my brother has ever accomplished. Who'dathunkit??

I mean....not that having a bastard child is an amazing accomplishment....but I can already see him growing up-FINALLY! He just got a call yesterday from Royal Farms for a job interview so hopefully that goes well.

I've never been in a delivery room before aside from my own entrance into the world. This will be interesting. I'll make sure to get plenty of pictures to show you all the miracle of child birth!! (kidding)
But I WILL put up a picture of him after he's all cleaned up and junks.

My boss is on the road today so its just me at the office selling plastic yet it seems like its still going to be extremely slow.

Why is she being induced? That is an awful way to have a baby and can cause complications and has a much higher risk of c-section. I had a baby I gave up for adoption when I was a teenager and I had to be induced bc I went 2 weeks over and it was the most awful thing ever. My son was pretty easy but my water broke and that only happens naturally or pre-labor like 25% of the time, but still slowly progressing labor is the key. And you're going to be in the room? Good luck with that lol. Is she planning on the epidural? Hopefully for you and your brothers sake she is.

How far along is she? I never had any signs of contractions until I went into labor, but man did they come after that. I walked all the time towards the end, ate tons of fresh pineapple with every meal and ate lots and lots of really spicy foods. They knew me at the indian buffett lol. They also say sex helps but I think I would have killed Marc if he had tried that. 15 minutes or more of nipple stimulation actually helps your body produce natural pitocin (the labor inducing drug) but I don't know if it helped me or not. First babies do tend to go past their due date though. I would encourage her to try and wait for her own sake, a good OBGYN would too. Most OBGYNs who encourage inducing only do it for their conveince. Midwives can go too far the other way though, my friend went almost a month overdue which is insanely dangerous bc the placenta can start to break down but her midwives wouldn't induce her. It was craziness, her son weighed 10lbs when he was born and she was in labor for near 2 days before they gave her a c-section. Bump that.

Sorry if this is intrusive, babies and birthing are one of the few things I have a very vast and exspanive knowledge on so I like to give tons and tons of advice lol.

Oooh speaking of advice, you should tell her to have her doctor do a perineal massage during labor. Some people do it pre-labor too but it seems to make the biggest difference during labor, it can keep you from tearing or getting cut. I had one and had an awesome recovery, no stitches no episiotomy not even a hemrhoid.
