Imponderables and Quik Fax
Here I will add either a thought to ponder, or a fun fact.(If you want more, look under the Snapple caps.) This is the first day, so I will start next time I log on.
oops...
I changed my mind. each day, i will have a tidbit of info that I want to share. Well, here it goes: ~"Does it ever amaze and delight you that of all the places in the world- cool grassy nests under hedgerows, warm patches of sun on a carpet- the cat chooses to sit on your lap?"- Nevada Barr ~Snackmosphere n. The empty but explosive layer of air at the top of the potato chip bag.* ~Pajangle n. Condition of waking up with one's pajamas turned 180 degrees* ~Why do we sing "Take me out to the Ball Game" when we're already there? *= Not an actually dictionary-defined word, but funny enough to be one.
Lyrics
My favorite song is SPIN by LIFEHOUSE. YOU should know the lyrics to it, so here: I'd rather chase your shadow all my life Than be afraid of my own I'd rather be with you I'd rather not know Where I'll be than be alone and convinced that I know CHORUS When the world keeps spinning 'round My world's upside down and I wouldn't change a thing I've got nothing else to lose I lost it all when I found you and I wouldnt change a thing. Everything I know has let me down So I will just let go Let you turn me inside out But I know I'm not sure Of anything but you wouldn't have it any other way. CHORUS Spinning, turning, crashing, burning All my life has found its meaning Walking, crawling, climbing, falling All my life has found its meaning You and I wouldn't change a thing. No, you and I wouldn't change a thing. CHORUS x2

Restauarnts
I will review the Chicago restaurants in the next few Modules. Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. Its named after the movie Forrest Gump. There was a two hour wait to get in, but the food was delicious (****)I would recommend the Seafoood Hush Puppies and the fish and chips. All warm, plentiful, and delicous. Be careful, its always CROWDED!!!
Hayley
Hayley is a very pretty name, although it is Eminem's daughter. I think I'd like it better if it were spelt "Hailey" or "Haylee" because H-A-Y-L-E-Y seems too out-there. There's this girl I like named Hayley and her hair is always in braids, so now the name hayley to me is associated with braids. Of course, your name might be Hayley and you'd be Hayley with or without braids, but that is my mental stereotype Hayley. Please sign my guestbook if your name is Hayley and you wear braids.
More Restaurants
The Weber Grill Weber Grill is in the middle of downtown Chicago on State Street near Superior street. It is a very popular restaurant. (when we called up, the wait was two hours). We ended up going the next day for lunch, when there was a crowd when it opened up at 12:00. They serve meat, burgers, and some sandwiches. The kitchen/grill is in front of some of the booths, so you can see them cooking your meal. I oredered the weber Classic(cheeseburger) and I asked for it with no cheese, but of course it came with cheese. they nicely took it back and gave me a new(?) burger. I would recommend the String Beans with Almonds, a really good side dish. They give you plenty, and they have a nice grilled flavor. If you're ordering a salad, be sure to order(unless u can literal;ly eat a horse) the half-salad. My mom ordered the half and it was so big she couldn't finish it!! Also, the rack of pork ribs is HUGE(dad ordered) and very proky tasting. Overall, I would give it a ***1/2 (out of *****)
Nick and Tony's
There' this really cool restaurant(Saturday night, no wait) called Nick and Tony's (not like the steak place in New York City). Our waiter made some mistakes:
-Calamari appetizer(DELICIOUS) came late
-Steaks were done wrong(Medium-rare instead of rare)
-No steak knife came
-Skim milk when asked for cream

Not all the mistakes were the waiter's fault and he said it was his first night on the job, but why would a newbie say that????
Overall, I would rate Nick and Tony's (Off Michigan and the River)a **1/2
Hi--Temp new Module theme
I dont' have permission yet, but my friend moshpitmonkey73 does this really cool module thing where she goes on about a certain name everyday. I asked her for permission to do it oo, and I will start now and delete all of them if she says no (I can't wait!)
Lisa
Lisa is SUCH a soft, flowy name. It can be snobby, say, if your name is "Lisa Issacman"(I know a VERY snobby-girl named Jennifer Issacman) or "Lisa Curran"(because it just sounds bad--BUT IF UR NAME IS LISA CURRAN, IT IS A BEAUTIFUL NAME). I have a friends named Lisa, but that doesn't really concern you guys. Her name is Elizabeth and her nickname is Lisa.(Like, teachers call her Lisa) If I have a daughter and I name her Lisa, it will not be a nickname. I can't stand those use-all-the-time-even-with-your-mom nicknames because then every once and a while you see the person's real name and you're like "Who's that?"and somebody you don't like will be lik e"O that's LISA, duh." and you'll feel stupid and. I'm getting boring now so I'll stop. Farewell, big bad Lisa.
Angie
I just read 2 things-a book and a magazine article- both with someone named "Angie". I don't know if its pronounced ayn-jee or aan-jee, but o well. I think its kinda a weird name, like if sumone named u Angel. Angel sounds like one of those names those African-American singers would use. I hate those names, they r so un-realistic. Like, India.Arie. Who puts a period between their names? and Beyonce and Monica (those messed-up "I-only-have-one-name people) But um I am probably offending at least one person by writing this. maybe i should stop. Oh but opne more thing, If your name is Angie, please sign my guestbook with ur username.

Carrie
Carrie is a nice, kinda old fashioned name. it can also be a boys name (carey) which i think sounds too preppy of a name (sorry, Carey and megan). I wonder if it has anything 2 do with the word CARRY.myabe it originated from like Uzbekistan adn they had a weird way of spelling english and this kid was always carried so they named him Carry but spelled carrie or carey and he grew up like that and got really popular and all his friends wanted their little brothers and sisters to be named Carrie/Carey and their moms liked the idea and and and...
