The end of the days of good literature...
Friday. 9.18.09 10:12 pm

so i walked into the bookstore and on the nice shiny shelf that usually has great new mystery books.. or old hidden classics or a new amazingly writting fiction book..... MORE THAT HALF OF THE TITLES EITHER HAD VAMPIRE, BLOOD, FANGS, OR OTHER VAMPIRE RELATED TOPICS ON THEM!!. i hate it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

its driving me crazy!!! i love new books by fresh new authors and even better great new fiction or fantasy fiction that actually is good. but wtf is going on?!?!?!?!

i know everyone got brainwashed to believe it cant be fiction without a love triangle with vampires that dont really attack ppl and who dont really have any story line. They are just glamorous people who go to parties and have everything and end up HAPPY EVER AFTER.

no thanks ill pass

i like something with more substance to it

oh read a great book a few weeks ago

its called "life expectancy" by dean koontz

great book if you want a mystery/thriller/comedy kind of thing

he has a great way of adding humor to the most tragic and serious situations

and his characters have great story lines and substance to them.

PEACE!!

Steve Berry, I love him. Or Stephen Clark, funny stories about the French.
