I get to play bartender today. I'm a bit nervous as I've never done it before, and there are going to be a LOT of people as I hear. It's not like I'm really mixing any big special drinks, but I'm pouring soft combinations like rum and coke, or vodka and sprite, things like that. I'm just kinda nervous about if someone confronts me today with like some kinda weird name for a drink and I embarrass myself. I keep telling myself there's nothing to worry about, but for some reason, I'm still worried. I've very sociable and can talk to the crowd, but I'm never really this nervous. Maybe it's because I'm thinking of the client's expectations too much. Ah, I guess I'll just have to show up and find out.

The bartending thing kinda got in the way of my plans, I was supposed to go clubbing/birthday party tonight with a bunch of friends. We usually have a preparty session before going and hit the places by around 9 so we can get a good spot in line and get the early drink specials (yeah, we're cheap, but would you really pay $15 for a tequila shot?). My sister called me about midday yesterday and asked me to do it for a friend of hers from 4pm to 6pm. So I accepted, thinking the time frame was perfect cuz I could get back home before 7pm and get dressed, shower and whatnot. Turns out the time is from 6pm - 9pm. It was 10pm first until I talked it down an hour. So I guess I have to rush home since the meeting place for the birthday party is gonna be at my house. After work all day and then working extra hours in the night, I'mma need a shower. Well, wish me luck today that I don't spill drinks on my clothes and smell like Jack Daniels on the way home! :fingers crossed:

wow, $15 for a tequila shot? around here, it's $9, $10, and that's for patron.

wow, that's a lot of money. and I thought paying $4 for a shot of Jager was a lot lol. I know I'm kinda late, but I hope everything went well
