Hooray France! I want to go, but I probably have to hold off of traveling to Europe for another 5 or so years x___-

Alcohol never solves a problem. Yes it tastes good, but drinking for the sake of forgetting or dealing with a difficult problem is never a good idea just because once it's time to sober up, you begin to realize that you feel much worse with that hangover. I don't know. Maybe it's just me and my personal experience but lack of sleep, homesickness, and eating very little that day was a very bad combination to begin with.

Anyway hope everything goes well, and enjoy France!
