The wedding was really sweet, but since I didn't know anyone other than the friend I went with, it was pretty much just a place I went for free food. I dressed up, congratulated the bride and groom, at some food, enjoyed some drinks and music and we called it a night. I got home a lot earlier than I expected to, but that's fine because I have to work early in the morning.

I had my friend take a picture of me wearing the dress and heels to send to my family since they never see me dressed up as such and they're reactions are pretty funny. My mom really enjoys pretty much any picture I send to her and my sister proclaimed that there was actual proof. It would probably still be funny if I wasn't buzzed, but I'm definitely amused.

For once, I didn't have to drive tonight so I took advantage and actually had a few drinks. Not many, but enough to feel it; which, these days, doesn't take much. I'll probably sleep pretty well tonight. I'm still drinking water so I shouldn't be hung over in the morning.

My work kind of fucked up and I made sure they felt it. I was all set to work the overtime, as I had said in pretty much every entry for the past week. It didn't surprise me in the least when they called me this morning, twice, begging me to work because the person they "originally had scheduled" was a no-call, no-show. I told them no, that I had plans and that I confirmed with them yesterday and told them yesterday that I was going to make plans and not to call me to come in. Idiots. They won't learn from this, but maybe next time they won't be so quick to take overtime away from someone who's responsible.

I have laundry to do tomorrow after I get home from work, but other than that, I'm pretty much going to be relaxing and will probably go to bed early. Hopefully tomorrow's shift isn't too bad. I'm there for 8 hours so we'll see.

It isn't exactly crashing a wedding if you went as a plus 1... Despite that, I'm glad you enjoyed yourself
