I got my hair chopped off today! It was time. I haven't had it cut since April of '09. I had it cut up to the bottom of my shoulder blades. I hated it because that was not what I wanted. So I let it grow out and avoided hair salons.

Up until this morning.

Over the last week, I was actually starting to sit on the ends of my hair, which is a pretty big indicator that it's way too damn long.

I love it so much! I had it cut for donation. I'll be sending it in to Locks of Love on Monday. It's shorter than the last time, but this is what I wanted so I was prepared for the incredible difference in length.

I absolutely love it! I'm so happy with the cut. Jacob loves it too. He called it cute. He's always loved shorter hair, but he knew that I was comfortable with my long hair so he put up with it. What makes him like my cut even more is how happy I am with it.

I really liked my stylist too. I will definitely be going back to see her the next time I need something done with my hair. I'll probably keep it short for a while before growing it back out for donation.

Today was a good day.

I'm not a hairstylist or anything, obviously, but I think you might actually look pretty good with one of those short asymmetrical cuts.

I think I have to go back to one particular stylist in my hometown to get a nice haircut. He's expensive but he's good (unfortunately to say because I don't quite like him).
