I HATE DOING TAXES!

I just did my taxes ... well part of them. I filed online for free so that I wouldn't have to fill out paperwork and do the configurations myself. I figured it would be easier right? Well, it would be if I didn't forget where I put last year's tax information. I kind of need that in order to do it the quick way.

I had to file taxes last year, but since I didn't have interent access, I just gave my mom the info and she did them for me. This year, since I have my laptop, I figured I'd do all of it, but I'd be on the phone with my mom to just guide me and help me when I needed it. It was fairly easy {and sort of ridiculous at times ~some of the questions were funny only cuz they were asking about stuff I didn't know existed or something that obviously doesn't apply to me, like retirement~}

Then it got to the point where I had to sign something {verification to prove its me}, but in order to do it electronically, I need last year's tax information. Which I know I kept, but seem to have misplaced in the last year. I can't for the life of me remember where I put it. I looked everywhere I thought I might have put it, but since it wasn't there {or I overlooked it cuz its late}, I now need to actually search. I guess its a good thing I live in a fairly small apartment {its a studio; its only for me so I don't need anything big}

Anywho, I've got a headache now {worse than before}, but its not surprising considering its the taxes that brought it on. At least I'm not alone in the feeling of hatred towards taxes.

Other than that my day was boring. I went to McDonald's cuz I didn't want the food I have here. I watched TV, played a bit on the comp, napped for about an hour cuz I was bored and that's about it. Boring day.

Alright, I don't think I'm going to be reading any tonight since its already after midnight and I need to work in the morning. And I don't really have anything else to say so I guess I'll end this entry here.

My dad says taxes are easy but they sound scary. :( I don't want to grow up for that!

Taxes.. Something they make a joke of in the newspapers and something that makes a lot of people shiver on a hot day.

SHOOT! I don't know where my last years tax information is either! I did TurboTax last year and don't they keep a record of your taxes or something? I don't know...I suppose I should start looking for that stuff. I don't have my W-2 yet, so I can't file...but they have to have those out by the 30th of January, so I can file soon!
