I'm only happy when it rains...
Monday. 7.12.04 5:36 pm
Today has been a really good day. In fact, today is the first good day I've had in well over a week. I went with my mom to the Chinese buffet for lunch. I've really become fond of the Vegetable Lo Mein. That stuff is pretty sweet. My fortune was kinda cool; "You will soon be honored by someone you respect." After lunch, we headed out into the pouring rain, but I wanted to drive. So, I ended up driving all over today. We hit up the thrift stores, but I only found a couple nice Ralph Lauren casual dress shirts and Carl Orff's Carmina Burana CD. After the thrift store circuit, we headed down to the mall to check out clothes and shoes for before I head back to school. I found a nice pair of khaki JNCO's, a pair of black Dickies, 2 compilation CDs (damn Hot Pocket, I always buy those compilations from your store!), and a cool blue/white/whatever button-down casual shirt from Pac Sun (on sale, of course). I only ended up spending around $65. How hott is that? So I've got some new music, new clothes, got a lot of driving time in, and had Chinese--it's been a good day.
