You suck. Stop that...
Monday. 6.14.04 5:37 pm
Most of you who I assume read this already know about the ridiculous 17 hour work day I had on Saturday, thanks to the Radisson, that never seems to amaze me with its lack of mental vigor. It was so careless of me to assume I would actually work 2-10, not 2-fuckin' 5 the next morning. So, not exactly to my surprise, I was told after I had gotten there, "Oh, thank you in advance. I put you down to close *shit-eating grin*" and ended up working there from 2pm to 2:30am. I went in there with the mindset that I was going to use that day as a test to see if I would stick it out for the summer or not. Obviously, I said fuck this, nothing has changed, nor will it anytime soon. So, before I left, I wrote a not and left it on my manager's desk. I had the greatest urge to copy Jon Masters and simply write, "You suck. Stop that.", but I wrote out that the note is my two weeks notice. I have to laugh too, because, as usual, I'm not scheduled at all for this week, so I have a whole week off out of my last two. Whatever, fuck 'em, I don't care anymore.

DG still sucks with hours and Mike's a douche. At least the job itself isn't exactly shitty. Once again I'm stuck with shitty hours though. This working every other day nonsense is crap for crap. I'm calling Kyle Viera later on tonight to find out if he can hire me to work with the contractor, painting. I'd do it in a second; it's 40 hrs/week and I think it starts at $6.50/hr. Williamsport just sucks at life when it comes to jobs.

On a brighter note, I'm slimming down. My size 32 JNCO khakis no longer cut off circulation because of my lard. However, they're probably permanently stained now because I burned my hand on the dish and spilled lasagna all over my pants at lunch today. I definitely had a case of the Mondays today. Ho well, I just laugh and take it in stride.
