(including visitors from my xanga) element 94  | reunited and it feels so nice Monday. 08.09.04 12:47 pm >>> clue: peaches mood: sleepy alright, this weekend i took lots of pictures, but my laptop still hasn't been fixed so you'll have to wait. they aren't that great, though, so don't get your hopes up. saturday, i went to great america with a bunch of people from COSMOS (science camp, for those of you who don't know). when i got there, christina and james were waiting in the parking lot. we waited around a little until saurabh came, and then jana, grantland, and claire came afterwards. justin was supposed to come too, but no one had kept in touch with him and we weren't really sure whether or not he was actually coming, so we waited about fifteen minutes and then decided he wasn't coming. we went to the park, where we met andrew and his friend. we went on top gun first (can you believe they removed stealth?!) and then we went on that water ride with the big donut-like boat. along the way, we lost andrew and his friend, but we proceeded to go to the log ride because we weren't wet enough. claire and i got wetter than anyone else because we were splashing water at each other during the ascent to the top (we got in trouble for it and the guy thought i was "flirting" ...). then we had lunch. i had a nutritious meal of soft-serve ice cream and a large soda, and almost threw up. we decided to go on grizzly where i nearly purged my lunch because the ride was so damn jittery. then we sat down and played ten fingers until it was time to go. saurabh stayed at great america to meet other friends, andrew and his friend were gone, and the rest of us were off to jana's house. we all sqeezed into jana's truck, but claire and i had to sit in the trunk. claire kept farting and the ventilation sucked, so i nearly died of asphyxiation. we stopped by albertson's to pick up some groceries for the night, and had some starbucks too. we got to jana's house and watched movies and ate chips. jana's sister got mad at me because i got the round remote with the buttons instead of the round remote with the buttons. we watched office space (which james got me for my birthday), aladdin, and original sin (the unrated version ... o@;). the latter had lots of the naughty in it. we also made brownies (we had to teach jana how to work her oven), but we didn't have oil so we melted butter. they turned out yummy anyway. we were also supposed to make macaroni and cheese, but we didn't feel like it. the rest of the night was spent playing more ten fingers and trying to go to sleep. claire and i kept fooling around because we couldn't go to sleep (which pissed off christina and james who were cuddling in their sleeping bag). we were wrestling and throwing condoms at james and christina. finally, at around four o'clock and after the madd freestyle battle, i fell asleep. james woke me up and said i was snoring hella loud, and i got mad that he woke me up so i pretended to sleep but snored even louder. james, christina, and grantland thought i was sleeping and they decided to mess with me, but they didn't have a sharpie (thank god!) so they poured water on my head and put ice on me. i ended up on my back and they put ice on my back, and i made orgasm noises and pretended i was having a wet dream. they continued to drip water and put ice on me, and i was planning to get them when they were asleep by putting mousse all over their faces. they finally decided to stop, but i wouldn't let them sleep because i was fake snoring so loudly. i got so tired, though, and i decided that i was going to wake up early and do my little mousse plan. however, i couldn't wake up early enough. it turns out james and christina never went to sleep, and it wouldn't be fun to just put mousse on grantland's face, so i was kinda disappointed. i told them all about it, and they felt hella stupid afterwards, so i guess it wasn't all bad. when we all woke up, we made the macaroni and cheese and ate ben and jerry's ice cream while the macaroni was cooking. by the time we finished our wholesome breakfast (which required a while stick of butter to make), it was time for us to leave. so we said our farewells and that's the end of the big COSMOS reunion. hm. i just reread all of that, and i don't think it makes sense unless you were there. oh well. EDIT: 08.13.04 pictures! it starts on the day before my birthday ...  i saw this shirt while i was shopping for back-to-school clothes and i thought "uh oh, element 94 has some competition!" yeah shut up. it was funny at the time. that's my mom and my sister at red robin, where i had my birthday lunch. my two brothers. my mom and stepdad. i ordered the seafood platter. yum. that's me and my birthday sundae! ew. my long hair. hehe. watersports. i saw hell's angels on the highway and yeah. alright, cosmos reunion! that's claire. no, her face isn't screwed up like that, i moved the camera while i shot the picture. that's jana, striking the infamous fob pose. saurubh. grantland and horrible lighting. the back of james' head. christina. andrew. angelica! jana and claire just couldn't resist. jana and christina. claire again ... ... and again. grantland. oh, by the way, we're now at jana's house. aww, look at jana. she's so cute with her little camera ...
