back to an empty life void, with a phone that doesn't ring with requests from familiar voices "come out tonight." back to a messy bedroom where the contents of the dresser are scattered across the floor, where the bass from the speaker reminds me that i can still feel. back to papers of years ago littered underneath desks and on top of desks and on the floor and everywhere... back home to the comfort of home and the smell of home and the lovely feeling of home.
