Had a gathering with my ncc mates from cat high today..dinner at fish and co @ glass house and afterwards some light drinking at an open air pub called timbre; recommended by arthur and sj, located next to the site of the old national library.

well, the last time i met up with these guys was nearly 3 years ago, when most of them who went jc had just finished their studies and were yet to be enlisted. now most of them have ald ord and are in various unis liao, with the exception of myself and and a few others who went to poly.

actually, the turnout for the gathering was quite pathetic cos all in all only 8 out of our cohort's 20 plus strength turn up, minus 2 of them; arthur and edward who nv made it in time for the dinner, and only joined us afterwards for the drinks. but considering the time given to organise this outing, abt 1 week odd, its quite alright liao la...since the lousy turnout was probably due to last minute personal commitments on many of the members' parts and also the festive season.

except for terence, most of them must have been quite surprised to see me smoking and it ended up with some of them kp-ing me to cut down or quit..haha..we'll see how la hor..

the pub we went to was pretty good; it had a gd live band and great atmosphere and also a few cute waitresses. only bummer was it was smoke free..wtf..first time i go drinking cannot smoke inside the compound must excuse myself outside to get my tobacco fix. but nair mind, we had quite a fun time catching up, talking cock and reminiscing abt the good old times back in cat high ncc..yf and me wanted to get pissed drunk or at least tipsy and high but was prevented from doing so cos all of us got no money..the booze there is damn ex la.. one bottle of chivas @ 180 is really tai lang lei..but arthur say its calculated in to account for the great live band and atmosphere..whatever..

upon dispersing and going home, we discussed our next gathering...thought of gg back to cat high to see what became of our old ncc store and also to disturb our commander yang lao peh..haha..but tt will have to wait, since its hardly possible to plan sth like this with all our busy schedules and moreover, its would have to be a weekday somemore if we were to really do so..heh.
