I juz saw the documentary by michael moore, bowling for columbine on dvd, and I muz say, I'm really impressed...Thru the film, I really found out alot about America and its gun culture, or rather 'gun nuts' culture...The film really went in depth on the happenings that could have directly or indirectly contributed to the columbine high school shootings on april 20, 1999. It really set me thinking..Although what is depicted in the film does not really affect any of us here in sg at all, it still shocks me to find out some of the facts behind the columbine high school shootings..

For instance, after the shootings, the american educational board went as far as suspending kids for pointing stuff at others and saying "bang, bang". And it also revealed how easily kids in america could get their hands on guns and ammo.. becoz their local k-marts sell them for as cheap as 17 cents a round, without even checking for age verification at all!! Damn, these are scary facts...

Why am I writing all these down? Well, maybe becoz I feel like writing about sth thats touched some nerve deep down in me ba...Yeah, ttz probably it...

And finally, I'll like to recommend the film to all of u out there.. Bowling for Columbine is definitely a muz watch...And I'll definitely catch Moore's next feature, Farenheit 9/11, due in theatres soon.
