Should money stop be from going to grad school?
Tuesday. 3.6.07 2:52 pm
Sunday: A girl in the office said my style was "classic"
Monday: I was called smart because i was the only person to get an A on my exam

Hmm... Grad school seemed to out of the picture just a year ago. I remember talking to mike about it and thinking how crazy it would be to want to go to school another 2 yr and pay even more!
But now i am seeing that i might need to in order to make it in my field. and i kind of would like to, but only if i could go to a great school, not Towson. I wouldn't impress anyone with a grad degree from towson.
But NYC, or American, now those are degree's with something behind them.
But it's expensive and i don't think my parents would pay for it. i would need to make it on my own.
And i think 2 yrs at grad schools like that...at least 50k....
and that's just tuition. then i need to think of where to live and work and stuff...and bills.
i could try to get a job and see if somehow i can get them to help pay for part time grad school....i here some places do that. that would be grand.
something to think about though.

Grad school should be worth it. Even if you have to take out a loan to help pay for it, think of how much better your life with be for it after you get your degree.

At least, that's what I tell myself.

Most schools allow you to teach while you're a grad student. They don't pay you BUT they pay for your schooling. So you teach in your field, have free tuition and are probably allowed to stay in the dorms.

That's how it works at my university.

Don't let money get in the way. It'll pay off in the end. What field are you going for?
