I finished an oil painting today!! well, im thinking of maybe doing a little more work on the biggest leaf on the far left, and maybe the left eye? but aside from that im all done XD It took about 2-3 weeks time to do, when i painted during my art lessons and sometimes during breaks and after school on Thurdays.

The model is my little sister. She's about 8 yrs old, and too photogenic for her own good XD always lets me take pictures of her though....she's a good model. I used her for my art gcse final piece and got an A* on the piece (too bad my coursework brought me down to an A'' T_T)

Seriously, that's like the best oil painting I have ever seen (and by far my favorite =3)!

i really hope i can continue painting, but it will be difficult once i leave school to go to uni, as the uni im applying to doesnt have an art room with paints and easels...etc, whereas the art room i have at my schookl is amazing, well stocked, and i have my own area to paint
half the reason im considering applying for oxford is because it has an arts centre with art supplies XD
