Apparently i have to get a new school skirt now....because my current one is too short...

We have a teacher at our school - Miss Homewood - who is basically the uniform police. Im not kidding, she's about 5ft and she scares the living daylights out of me. Everytime she passes me a shiver of fear runs down my spine and i have to do a mental check that iv got my shirt tucked in and my jumper covered up...as apparently my jumper is illegal too...luckily she seems to have forgotten she told me to get rid of it...

Anyway, i was walking along, minding my own business, and she marches up to me to yell that my skirt is 'indecent, and not a school skirt'. Because it is more than 3 inches above my knee. I wore this skirt all last term and she never mentioned it before. So really, i should be allowed to wear it, as my legs have blatently just grown over half term. Or my knees have dropped. Either way, its not my fault the skirt appears to be short...

Oh well, at least she didnt threaten me like she did another female friend, where the poor girl was told 'if you wear that skirt again, i shall take it off you and burn it'. And before that, when she was walking up the stairs 'your skirt is so short i can see up it'. Of course, the arguement is that Miss Homewood is just so vertically challenged she is at the right angle to see up my friend's skirt, and it has nothing to do with length XD

She still got a new skirt though....even though it was rebelliously see-through...

It just goes to show....Funsized people CAN strike the Fear of God into others XD

How scary! I know what you mean though. In my previous job and in school the rule was it has to be at your fingertips. I have a long torso and legs so everyday for the first week I'd have all of my teachers make me stand in front of the class and prove the skirts I were wearing weren't against the rules. :(

I've learned the shorter the person is the more stern they can be since people tend to treat them like kids.

XD yeah, i think she is a spinster? well, shes over late 40's and still a miss....does that make you a spinster?

yeah, i always seem to be the one who gets told off for uniform, because i still look like a 14 yr old....

i have low knees!! its not fair T_T

XD miss homewood is definately a tigress XD she is terrifying T_T
