Darth Maul

Many people argue that Darth Maul should have survived Episode I, but here's my theory.

Darth Maul had to die to show two things:
1) Obi Wan is a hard ass
2) Symmetry.

Now, the only thing that stops me is that Darth Maul does not look the way he does because it's his genes... no, those marks are tattooed onto his head... almost like George Washington, who had his face that we see tattooed on, when really he looked like Adrian Brody.

Darth Tyrranus may have sucked ass, but Maul needed to die. End of story.

dare I say I have no idea how this money thing works? But I have a feeling it's gonna rip my heart out at more than one point...

What a weekend.

So I took a four-day weekend. I feel like I've earned it.

Now of course this meant skipping class Friday and work on Saturday, but I doubt either of them really missed me all that much.

So I drove out Thursday... why? Because it was Hell Night for TKE, baby. I saw my second pledge class go through (yeah, I'm about a year away from being an old head) and with my good pal Kirk involved in this one, the night was much more fun... some notes from Thursday night's festivities:

-The looks on the new brother's faces when they got in... always funny because at least two don't believe it... trust me, it never misses.

-How quickly the party comes together after they're initiated. Within twenty minutes the damn house was full of people.

-Kirk driving us back to the dorm, with Bob Pryor in our trunk screaming Tenacious D lyrics.

-Bob getting out of the trunk and face planting in the parking lot.

Among several other things.

I won't go into great detail about the rest of the weekend, sufficing to say it was a fantastic time at Sig Pi's party, and at the XAT Date Party (aka sleep deprived Chris meets Jack Daniels for the first time in a LONG ASS TIME and finally gets a good amount of sleep).

Can't wait to go back... it won't be until the second semester... c'mon time machine for Hannukah...

Lucky duck, four day weekend. I haven't been to a good party in soo long...Hopefully Santa will make it un-boring around here. ;)
