we got to see the baby today...we saw its little heart beating and saw it wiggle around.....my s/he's so active!!! we didnt get a picture of it because they didnt plan an ultrasound, but dr. goldstein decided to give me one so we could all see it.....according to the growth, im at week 13 and due april 30th!! the baby is 6.18 cm long and weighs about a couple of ounces.. i was bawling when i saw it...jim was crying too...all i can do right now is smile and think of that little baby inside of me...the baby's so gorgeous...even though i couldnt see features...they pointed out the eyes, but i was just in such a shock i didnt really notice....i cant believe there is a baby inside of me that i can see now....it all seemed surreal to me until now...i know it changed jim...he's so into it now....he took me out to dinner tonight after work so we could be alone and have a romantic evening and talk about the baby freely....my doctor's so nice...he's funny and he includes jim in this...unlike many OB's...he asked him how he felt, how he feels now after the ultrasound...he's just super cool...they took 7 vials of my blood...ick...it wasnt that bad thou...i was shocked....im just so happy that i got to see our little miracle in ''person''....its so real now...all i knew before was 2 sticks with a plus on it...and now i saw this living baby inside of me...it's truly something i'll remember forever....seeing your first child for the first time...its breathtaking...it made me feel invincable.....call me stupid..but when you're in my place..im sure you'll understand!!!!

your baby should be born on April 22nd, because freaking cool people are born on that day. Like Jack Nicholson and I. Or, just being born in April is cool. Hehe, good luck!! =)

i am so glad u got to see ur baby...i am sure its a day u won't forget....i am sure u can tell u baby this when its older..."i remember when i first say u, i thought u were an angel then.." hahah just joking...i am glad u finally got to see a doctor and u know everything is going ok so far...good luck with everything to come

That's so wonderful! Just the thought of it makes me smile, and it's not even my baby. I can't begin to imagine what you're feeling... it might be 1,000 times better than what I felt the day I got Mocha and Frisco (my kittens). ^^ Congrats!
