X-mas is over, seeing my family was interesting. My sister kinda blurted out that my girlfriend is black. There was kinda an awkward silence, then some mublings, nothing major. Later on I told my family that I converted to Episcopalian instead of Roman Catholic. My grandmother started screaming "OMG?! Why are you doing that, what is wrong with RC, etc blah blah blah". That was fun. That was xmas eve, xmas I realized how much of a biggot my grandmom really is. Some of the family were watching the football game, and a female reporter started talking. My GM started saying that a women doesn't know anything about football and has no right talking about it. I couldn't think of anything good to say, so I kinda just nodded and ignored her.

Whenever I'm away, something breaks in the house. The TV in the family room was having problems tuning, but instead of checking the cable line, my dad would just hit the TV. It has been taking him more and more hitting to get the TV working. This morning, after hitting it for about 20 minutes, he declared the TV dead. We went to The Great Evil to get a new one, found one we liked and had the clerk get one from the back. We went to the check out, and the TV came up as $350 instead of the $280 it should have been. I run to get the price tag and the cashier adjusted the price. After we come home to set up the TV, I realize that this wasn't the TV we picked out. Instead of getting a normal 4:3 TV, we get a widescreen flat tube TV. Not too shabby.

I just realized that I could get a TV and it would be less than my iPod. :0
