hmm... it has been two days after the poly 50 and u guys probably read from others' blog on tis event too. but wat the heck!

honestly, from the veri moment i wrote my name down on that sheet of paper to register for the poly 50, thoughts of regrets and doubts filled my mind right up to the moment i was at the starting point where i was waiting for the race to start. for ppl who seen me run before, u guys noe tat i couldnt make it beyond the 100m mark let alone running 200m several times. it doesnt help tat the fact i dun exercise at all (haha! u guys can see it from my size anyway~!)

so there i was at the starting pt surrounded by atheletics from the other teams who were all veri eager to get to the front of the pack. but i m veri contented with where i was which was way at the back with pei yoke from the next class. at the starting pt with me were some aunties who i felt can beat me hands down easily. tings were getting pretty boring at the starting pt cos the first ladies were summoned veri early, i was so bored to the extent tat i begin to pull the stray threads from my number tag. after several "15 mins more to the race" talk by the staton personnel, the poly 50 finally starts after the principal waved the flag. just as i predicted, some of the gals in front of fell and tripped over each other. haha~! its pays to stand behind! anyway, if u read SQ's blog, he said i was super anti-climax cos they were so eager to see me running at the front but they onli spotted me after like tonnes of gals ran past them. but hey! at least i managed to run beyond 100 m.

its was really exciting to see others sprint while i was waiting for my turn to run again. it has been a long while since i have been involved in an event like tis where i get to see ppl cheering for their teammates and can feel the adrenaline pumping thru my veins. it was at that pt in time when i stop regreting.

anyway, i shld fast forward to the part where it was near to the end of the race since the guys probably mentioned some of the stuff in their blogs too. we didnt make the cut off time becos the station personnel were using their loudhailers telling the participants to stop running but ROC refused to listen so we continued to wait for lai man to pass me tat one last card so tat i can finish tat last leg n officially making us complete the POLY 50. we did just tat n we are just one one min short. 2 hrs and 1 min. haha! n to tink tat during our training last fri, we were pretty sure we couldnt even complete 30 rounds within 2 hrs. but we did it~! hooray~!!!

like the others, i would like to thank the helpers n the guys who psychoing me to join in the race cos it was a unique experience. anyway, i shld stop! its time to ROC~! enjoy the pics if possible we look rather shitty haha~!
