Edward works for a pretty well-known Portland brewery and one of the owners has season box tickets to Portland Timbers games (MLS soccer team). Every once in a while the owner gives out four tickets to employees, and yesterday Edward got a pair! So last night we went and watched the Timbers play FC Dallas. It was fun! Even though we lost.

Box seats are so much fun, you get FREE FOOD you guys! I ate three hot dogs, a creamsicle, a bag of Cracker Jacks and a 34" red rope licorice. It was awesome. We were also in Row F which is really close to the field and I almost got hit by the soccer ball! Instead of hitting me, it hit the beer cup of a guy we were with and broke it and beer spilled everywhere and it made that guy kind of sad because you still have to pay for your beer when you have box seats, and beers are NINE DOLLARS.

Edward's co-worker got her picture taken with the guy who walks around with a chainsaw and cuts up a log every time the Timbers score.


I hope we get to go again soon! Maybe when it's warmer though. Or maybe next time I'll just bring a blanket, like a smart person. I didn't know we were going to a game until late yesterday though, so I wasn't really prepared.

Yay! That looks like a lot of fun. When I was a kid, my Uncle's boss gave out his box seat tickets to some employees so my family got to watch a couple minor league baseball games for free.

Oh and yes, that is exactly how I feel sometimes {like yesterday when I lost a bunch of stuff that I had collected while on my way back to deposit it to our stash.} The skeletons are just as annoying. Zombies are not so bad.
