This is a long but enjoyable entry.

My boss dropped her iPhone in a TOILET and got a free replacement.

My dad spilled wine on my mom's iPhone and SHE got a free replacement.

My cat repellent squirt gun leaked onto my bedside table and a TINY AMOUNT of water TOUCHED my iPhone and RUINED it and I had to pay $150 for a replacement and I lost all of my pictures because I backed up to to the stupid iCloud instead of my computer and it didn't even work, UGH. WHY.

So I guess I won't be uploading any cool pictures, except actually maybe I will, I just remembered.

I had my staycation last week! And I took some pictures (not that many) on my NEW AND BETTER (it's the same) phone which I have already backed up to this computer!

On Monday, I went to Sauvie Island with my sisterz. Sauvie Island is a 26,000 acre river island in Portland and it was fun! There's a nude beach portion, we skipped that though. There's also a lake in the middle of the island and I'm pretty sure that's the body of water we were on? But maybe not because big boats went by, so I guess we were on the Columbia? Geography, who knows.

On Tuesday I slept in, got lunch with Edward, then went home and cleaned out my closet while listening to music really loud. I had three bigass bags of clothes for donation and one average sized bag for selling to Buffalo Exchange. Man, it was hot that day you guys and my apartment doesn't have a/c because people in the Pacific Northwest don't believe in it which is good for the environment and my electric bill but not my sweat situation. HOT.

On Wednesday, I went and got a slice and a pint, then met up with my little sister Nikki and we sold my clothes to Buffalo Exchange and I got FIFTY THREE DOLLARS which I have already spent on I don't know what, most likely food. Then we went and got a pint on Hawthorne and enjoyed the shade and chatted about how stupid Chick-fil-A is.

Here's a funny picture I took while on Hawthorne:

On Thursday, I met my sister Danni for lunch while she was on break and immediately got pizza all over my shirt, so she took me back to work with her (at Anthropologie) and I bought a new and even BETTER shirt than what I was wearing, even though it was stupidly expensive but I got a discount so I guess that's okay. Then Nikki met up with me and we went shopping downtown and I bought Edward a flask he's been lusting after, then we went to this ice cream parlor on NE Alberta called Salt and Straw and got ice cream cones then walked to Danni's house around the corner and ate our ice cream on her porch while her dog barked at us from inside. (My cone broke and landed on one of her porch steps and I left it there as a gift to the ants and later Danni and I had a funny discussion about how she thought some random weirdos were eating ice cream on her porch while she wasn't home.) Then Nikki and I went and got pints and a cider at this pub across the street. We love pints. Then I took Nikki home and picked up Edward from work and almost peed my pants on the way home because pints will do that. Then we went and saw Seeking a Friend For the End of the World and I cried TWICE but Edward said the emotion was flat but whatever you guys, I cried. Twice.

On Friday I met up with Danni who had plans to float the Sandy River with two of her lovely co-workers, one of whom cannot swim. We went to go buy tubes for floating but they were sold out everywhere (the two places we looked) so we bought rafts instead which ended up being disastrous. We got to the Sandy and inflated our floatables. Danni and I decided to use the rafts since we are strong swimmers and we let Nancy, the non-swimmer, have a safe and sturdy tube (thank GOD). Danni and I took off on our rafts and immediately hit a rapid patch of water and ran into a rock wall and a submerged log and my raft popped and Danni, in an attempt to save a bag of beers (Coor's Light, like, not even worth saving) clung to her raft for dear life and we somehow managed to get over the log and back on course, only losing a few worthless beers and one of my shoes. Later, as we were floating gently along, sharing our raft together and drinking our Coor's Light, a drunk dude floated by us and yelled, "HEY IS THAT COOR'S LIGHT? I FOUND ONE OF THOSE BACK THERE AND DRANK IT THANKS MAAAAN!" So at least one of our beers did not go to waste, how wonderful. I now have a giant bruise on my butt from the submerged log, and I lost a toenail when our raft hit another rough patch. Danni, panicking and forgetting that I know how to swim, flung our raft at me like it was a life preserver. Thoughtful, yes, but necessary, no. Also, I think we were only in about four feet of water. But I will be forever grateful to her for attempting to save my life, which wasn't in danger. The Sandy River float should have taken about two hours, but because of our raft misadventures, took three and Edward had to walk home from work and I felt really bad about it, but then remembered that I have to walk home from work from my train stop every day and decided not to beat myself up over having a glorious, fun-filled day on the Sandy.

The end.

Here's a picture of Dagmar lusting after my unhealthy marshmallow cereal.

So I was just going along, reading your entry, and it was going well, and then I got to the toenail part and now I am making this face on the inside:

Wow, your life sounds awesome. I especially like the part about the guy who drank your beer.

Haha I'm glad you like my fantasies, you may use them anytime.

I love the beer guy story too much.

Sounds like some really great times you had minus the lost toe nail! Your sisters are stylin, I like their hair cuts.

Man you made some $$. My friend tried selling some stuff at Buffalo too and they just took one shirt from her. It was pretty sad.

ps. cute caat

No waaaaay! Well you should definitely visit me when you come. I'm right downtown. You can stay here if you want. >D

I'm probably leaving around August 2013 though.

i think my favorite part was that you lost a shoe and a toenail, and it wasn't a big deal. i feel like being bested by a river via losing a shoe would upset me quite a bit.

Even though I don't drink or go to bars, I am jealous of your bar's music video night. That sounds like fun.
» randomjunk on 2012-08-15 05:52:34

Thanks!
I like the name too, of course! :D

Your cat is very photogenic.

personally, i think it's awful that gay people aren't allowed in chick fil a anymore ):

how come all your pictures look like theyre from twenty years ago?

and yes, the thing with the woman is very confusing.. id on't know hat to do with the thing.. should i go back to virginia to the job and an ffice that wants me but i'll have to be close to her sort of.. or should i wait for a job in california that may not come because she sort of hurts my heart
» undisputed on 2012-08-17 12:03:58

The job offer in VA expires in five days.. the person I've been in contact with in LA is on vacation this week so I'm just like.. yeah.. if I wait and don't get the job, then x___x

and yeah shes a part of my decision process.. except she's the reason i want to not go to virginia, nto why i want to go back
» undisputed on 2012-08-17 01:14:57

did u use instagram? i love ur cat!!!!!
» renaye on 2012-08-20 07:02:04

All of this sounds amazing minus the losing the toenail bit.

I did something similar but only not really because I was in a canoe which I feel is slightly less dangerous for non-swimming folk...but anyway, when I did something like that it was in the midst of a drought so the water was really low. There were multiple times where we nearly tipped/flipped due to the rocks that were normally completely submerged in the water. But it was still fun! and it sounds like despite the lost toenail and shoe, you had a blast as well!! =)
