I took one whole week off from work! And I have no plans at all, just going to hang around my apartment and maybe do stuff with my sisters. I can't wait! And I'm sure my cat will be thrilled.

I have no good updates but am thinking about uploading a bunch of stuff to my gallery. (Easier said than done.)

Um, I'm going to see The Desaparecidos play on August 26th. Edward's real excited. We're also going to see Orbital (UK electronic band that's been around forever) in Seattle sometime in September. Edward's even more excited about that. Man, live shows kind of freak me out. Being in a big crowd of strangers isn't my idea of a good time, even if I am there to see a group I'm excited about.

I painted my nails yellow, my boss told me it's an obnoxious color. WHATEVER. She also told me I look like Dr. Zeus (guessing she meant Seuss) because I have a striped cardigan on over a shirt with a pattern. WHATEVER X2.

I recently read Kazuo Ishiguro's "Never Let Me Go" and it was so beautiful and wonderful and I cried like a baby but then I watched the movie and was horrified THEY BUTCHERED IT. butchered. it.

I went to see Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom with my sister in the parking lot of a brewery on Burnside and THAT was fun except for this guy sitting near me talked about the weather in Tucson and traffic in Seattle throughout the whole movie, it was weird.

I truly don't have one interesting thing to share today, I'll stop now.

I love neon yellow and oragne for toes but I've never tried it on my fingers. Polish always turns to crap in less than a day on my fingers anyhow :/.
