Dumbest text ever. Thanks roommate!

"A package came for you but I grabbed it on my way to work so its in my car. I shouldn't be to [sic] late tonight."

WHY EVEN SEND THAT?

Great. I received a package. But you took it. Had you not told me about it, I wouldn't be anticipating it. Have you not noticed that I try and go to bed before you get home so I don't have to interact with you because you talk too loud and it's mostly just complaining about asinine bullshit?

You don't pick up on things very well. No. You sure don't. (Which is really funny to me, because not long ago I listened to you complain about how much you hate people who are oblivious to everything. OH CRUEL IRONY.)

Now I want to know what it is. Because my whole family lives here and we'll be exchanging gifts in person. And I haven't ordered anything for myself (that I can think of; sometimes I buy shit online when I'm drunk, so maybe that happened).

Wow, yay, a present! A present I don't have access to. Not to mention, it makes NO SENSE that you'd take it with you. In all likelihood, it was left in front of our door. Or in the mailbox. Why couldn't you have just LEFT IT ALONE and then texted me, "HAI GURL YOU GOT A PREZZIEEEE IN DA MAIL!!! :D IT'LL BE WAITING FOR YOUUUUU!!!"

That would have been fantastic.

Hate you for life

maybe this is his secret ploy to make you wait up until he gets home so he can complain to you about his day. he actually had the package delivered himself/herself. :)

I was thinking about the same thing, except that she might have seen it, picked it up, and been like, THIS WILL MAKE HER STAYY.
Instead of sending it to you. :P

LAME
The taking-it-with-me-on-my-way-to-work bit makes NO SENSE. Unless she was worried it'd get stolen?

Why can't she just open the door, put it on the table and get to work? It won't take but a few minutes right?

I don't like anticipation either.. I know something is coming to me by mail but I don't know what but this person has surprised me twice last week.. so yea.. I'm waiting 5-10 days for it to arrive
