More Knowledge | Contributed by dave Using IceMelon's iRate! service, you can now quickly and easily have your blog entries rated. You can also generate lists of your top-rated and worst-rated entries. Directions1. Register with the service. 2. Once you log in, scroll down to the 2nd bullet under Tips. You will need the enc and y values listed there. 3. Go to Account Info under the NuTROL Administration dropdown menu (on the top, besides the logo). On that page, go to the Other Settings section and fill in your enc and y values into the appropriate fields (should be readily apparent). 4. Hit Set Values, and that's a wrap! On your page, besides the "Comment!" links (or whatever you have it set as), you should now see links that read "Rate!" For each entry that you create, an associated iRate! item will automatically be created. To administer these items, you can do so by logging into your iRate! account at IceMelon.com. There, you can also change your "star" images. For instance, if you take a look at my page, I currently (3/4/05) have those images set as carebears. To do that, go into General administration (from your IceMelon iRate! control panel). You should see the option. Have fun! Now, you will finally know what your readers really think. |
