By the time I got around to making this thread, some of the conversation made it out of the shoutbox so what I have is partial and by no means representative:

& i keep ff around for zotero. i delete the site names in my chrome bookmarks bar = a line of favicons to click on =D

extension. i may well keep ff and ie around. i use the three of them anyway.

that lets you render pages as if in IE or FF. Dunno how well that works, though.

lazy and want to wait for chrome to have a larger market presence. then it will be better supported.

ONE field in the bar for both google search & websites. makes such sense! why two?? second is that i can search sites directly from the bar. ;)

@Nuttz: Chrome always keeps a record of your closed tabs and windows. You just right click the tab area and the option is there. Or just ctrl+shift+t. Or go to your history (ctrl+h).

I think someone said in the shoutbox that they were Google lovers-fans-wannabes-something. I don't remember what. I just wanted to say "me, too!" Oh, junkie! Maybe it was junkie...anyway. Hello, I am a Google junkie. =)

FF also does ctrl+shift+T, and you can change the # of pages it keeps in about:config.

@Silver: I'll try Chrome when I get my Mac, mostly at the end of the month.

@silver my comp doesn't need a defrag, and to my knowledge doesn't have any viruses... it just seems like chrome has been sitting on the bench for so long that every time i say "chrome, you're in" it has tight muscles and cramps.
