Bouncing over here from the dead blog discussion. After I get through the bugs and the suggestions, I'd like to add stuff to the NuSTORE. One thing I'd like to add is a member's section to the store, so that people can sell their own things. Stuff like Sprites for the island, images for templates, entire design templates, and anything else anyone can think of. It would really get the NuConomy going.

Anyone have any suggestions on that? Anyone have anything they'd like to sell at the NuSTORE?

Also, since PPS is our currency, what does everyone think about adding something like... you can earn 1 pps (or any fraction of that) for every xx amount of time you're active? Like a bonus for the most active? Based on time on the site though, not on "pages visited" since that counts up if you refresh the page.

Any other thoughts on ways to add PPS revenue?

I think that Nrgjester might've claimed he was living in Waco, Texas, to gain access to that, but I don't really know.

maybe make it a little easier to 'buy' stuff, but i have no idea how you'd do that, maybe just a clicky for it, and umm yeah, i dunno

I like this member's store idea. Sounds like fun! Especially 'cause I have a ton of avatars and layouts, and even I forget about them, sometimes. This'll be a great way to get my stuff out to the users. Free advertising! lol

Avatars should probably go for only about 5 pps, maybe 10, 'cause they're so easy to make, and steal.

As AmbyrJayde mentioned, the best feature for the store itself would be ease in transaction. Sure, it's easy to dish out the dough for the item, but, with the current procedure, you also had to email dave, and wait for his reply, etc.
What could be done different that would be super, might be an automated confirmation of the request, at least, and automatic withdrawal of funds once the item or feature has been issued.

That would be great.

Maybe we could come up with a way so that people couldn't just right click on the avatars and save them?

Automated nuSTORE is on my to-do list. As for the problem with stealing avatars. I'm probably going to try and set up member areas for each person who posts items in the nuSTORE, so you can browse by creator. Once we get that system up, I think it's best to consider it the creator's responsibility to create preview pictures. Make an avatar twice the correct size, or slightly faded, or with a thick border around it, or add "preview" to the image. That way they won't be getting the actual item. Just the preview of it.

I wouldn't sell the same stuff to everyone. When I make pixel people each one is customized. :P

In that case, then maybe a collage of previous work? Just mash them all into one picture. Would show your work, plus people wouldn't be able to steal it.
