we drink milk from cows. but who ever thought of approaching the animal at first and squeezing the glands below its abdomen? then what im most curious about is who ever thought of drinking it?

There were desperate people then as well...

But, like all theories, here's another.

Just like how herbs were discovered to have benefits for specific illnesses, humans might have observed that if the infant drinks milk from the cow, chances are it might be good for the human body as well. Experiments were conducted and, lo and behold, it was good after all...

ok.. but would you ever have thought of looking at that animal.. and squeezing fluid out of its body, thinking it was good for you? hahah

If it made the little calves strong and healthy, well... There's a possible concept. It brings back to the idea on who ever thought about cooking food with fire...

Well, I dunno. By that argument, why has no one considered regurgitated food (e.g. as birds do) to be tasty treats?

Well, most (all?) female mammals produce milk (I think?). Cows can produce milk in bulk, so it makes sense to steal their milk.

Dear Zebra,
I often regurgitate my food and save it for later as a tasty snack.

That made me regurgitate a little bit.

Consuming milk from an animal is more efficient than slaughtering the same animal for meat. It probably happened around the same time as animal domestication thousands of years ago

hahaha ok.. regurgitating food then feeding it to babies.. well the thing is.. when you spew.. it smells bad enough as it is.. i dont think it could be much of a tasty treat.... secondly.. why dont we drink other milk then? dog milk? cats milk? then we dont even have to buy milk.. just use your pets?
