You watch them on TV. Some of your friends might be them, then you ask, "could I be one of these guys? Is there anything wrong with me?".

- Some of these definitions are loosely defined. It can get to a point that men who like to make themselves look good (to the point of doing facials, go to spas, etc.), have a well-decorated pad, and choose his clothes, might fit into the definition.

- For men who do appreciate art, fine dining, and all the things associated with snobs, rich guys, and the effeminate, they might have actually fallen into these categories.

- And, to your surprise, they're actually a ladies' man, with their arms is a different hot woman every week (or day).

- Now I ask, go to your closet and look at your clothes, do you actually color coordinate? Do you style your hair? Look at your house, and reflect, do you want to make it look "nicer" than it is, or if it is already "nice" to the standard of receiving praise from others?

- You, my friend, might be a metrosexual (or 'übersexual) after all

so is übersexual mega-metro? I still don't quite understand this concept . . .

übersexual is something like a higher metrosexual. It is supposed to be the new "alpha male" as per my interpretation of how they want to depict it. He is supposed to be the "model that everyone follows" in terms of intellect and pursuit of the evolution of humankind. (I think)

Excuse me? Must we all be following a MAN as the model for mankind? 0.o Eh-hem. I beg to differ. Hmph.

That is a good point. Is this definition for men only or could it apply to women as well?

There should be a definition, or idea, behind what would be the übersexual version for women. It should be exactly the same, with a slight change to "alpha female", someone into the intellectual pursuits and beyond, holding all the necessary traits beyond what are norms for women to its highest level.
