I can't believe you got the video...I'm so glad my lappie didn't let it work. I got up to the part where they put it around his neck and, thankfully, the video stopped. I realized I didn't want to see.

The video's actually very mild. The camera work is shaky, picture quality is poor, and there is no blood, gore or anything. Not traumatizing at all, in my opinion.

There's apparently a better quality video floating out there, in terms of clarity and camera angle/proximity.

Eh-hem, right. Thanks for telling me that, gege. But I still think the snuffing of any life is hard to see, with or without bloody gore. Actually, I'd probably would've rathered it been that way--I'd've laughed, too. ;D True.

Hmm, seen it already. I thought it was pretty cool, but this version sucks because the guy is recording it with his cell phone or something. Saddam was executed over back in his country wasn't he? He was convicted by his own people to a hanging. I sorta got jumpy/excited when I saw the drop/snap. Sry, I'm evil, I've seen death up close and personal before, but for genocidals, dictators, whatever, to see them finally caught up for what they had coming to them its nothing short of a twitch for me.

Why cant the camera man hold the camera straight!!!?? Dang it feels like Blair Witch! Whoa dang! That drop made a loud noise! Looks like his neck snapped!

I didn't want to watch it either.

I'm not scared of seeing some douche of a dictator die, by any means. He was reaping what he had sowed, but...
I don't know. I don't feel entitled to see it. He didn't do a damn thing to me or anyone I know. So, he got what was coming to him, but it's just not my place.
It's like going to the viewing of the body at some random person's funeral. To me, it just seems disrespectful to go see the body of someone I didn't know before.

I didnt kno there was another video? Thought this was the only one, cuz no one was allowed to hv anything like a camera, cellphone, etc. at the execution. There were only two ppl who had carried a cellphone with them. The guy who uploaded this video was arrested by the police.
